Celebrate life’s miracles- From the sweet little acorn, to the view of the mountains, and all the water that brings life to the Adirondack Region. We share in our time, our passions, and our experiences.
The Acorn was created as a request from my sister. It gave her a sense of hope for a full term pregnancy. The Acorn stays with it’s mama The Oak Tree until it’s ready to go out into the big world on it’s own. Like the Acorn, a healthy, beautiful baby grew connected to my sister and arrived at the perfect time.
The AN necklace came to me in a dream. After a tragic loss of a young man we had known since before he was born. His mom and I were pregnant and bringing our kindergarteners to the same school. After our sons were born,we watched them grow up and graduate and enter adulthood. His unexpected death rattled the earth for so many people who knew and loved him. I knew I wanted to do something for his family to honor his memory for them. He loved to be on the mountains all year round. The frame is the goggles through which he viewed them. They are curved in the shape of his infectious smile. In the mountains are his initials. For us, he will be part of our experience when think of his smile, we strap on our skis, or lace up our hiking boots and head out to enjoy the Adirondack Peaks.
